Bermuda or Toronto?

It looks to me like the fine folks at tourism Bermuda are recruiting new fans. They have been advertising here, there and everywhere lately. And the prices, as compared to other tropical destinations, look great. 

In fact, if a person were to fly Air Canada to Toronto, the current price is $470 per round trip from YWG, taxes incl. To instead fly to Bermuda from YWG, the price is $447 taxes in.  An example is shown from Mid April, but the prices are currently available from most days until the end of May. 

Weather there is tropical and warmer than Canada, of course, but not hot like Mexico or the Dominican. There are not typically all-inclusive resorts their either. You will also not find wild, crazy spring break parties in Bermuda... that, most would consider, a good thing. 

There is a lovely pink hotel in the main tourist area of Bermuda. (Hamilton.) It is said that Mark Twain used to frequent that hotel now known as the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.  

The pink and white sand beaches of Bermuda look gorgeous and someday I hope to go there. It's definitely on my list of destinations. And who knows, with bargain prices like these, a trip to Bermuda might come sooner than later.
